Design something worth fighting over, that was the thought behind the Alfheim Temple. It needed to be something significant, elegant and tell a story of who had been winning the war for a long time but that the tide of battle had shifted. Because much of the architecture in our game up to this point had been natural carved stone we wanted to contrast that with a new material. Fabric was a natural choice to work with the light elf's as well as the central light the temple was built around. This allowed us a lot of opportunity to tint the fabric Red or White depending on the state of the level just with the lighting.
